The dark side...
I don't remember having such a hard time with the last two pregnancies of course the last one was 9 years ago. I didn't have the nausea or the heartburn. This time around I am nauseous and I have major heart burn and this shortness of breath thing that is wiping me out. But in the end we all know it's worth it.
Your new resident is nearly an inch long — about the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce. She's starting to look more and more human. Her essential body parts are accounted for, though they'll go through plenty of fine-tuning in the coming months. Other changes abound: Your baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form — as do her tiny teeth. The embryonic "tail" is completely gone. Your baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. The external sex organs are there but won't be distinguishable as male or female for another few weeks.

I'm having a much more difficult time with this pregnancy, too. Morning sickness that STILL hasn't ended, the shortness of breath and I popped waaaay early. This time, I'm suddenly aware of my age, too. I'm 31, which isn't high risk or anything, but damn, things seemed easier in my twenties!
I hope you start feeling better soon. And a June baby! June babies are the best! Julia was born in June and so was I!
