This is my horoscope for today. Last night Jman's son was over for dinner. I went to the grocery store and grabbed the makings for Jman's birthday dinner and an ice cream cake (because that's the best kind). I come in and start cooking right away make my signature baked Mac and Cheese. We are having a nice evening the kids are loud and rambunctious they are kids whatever. I serve dinner and Jman's son eats two bites and says he doesn't feel good. OK fine, but then Jman says to give him some of the birthday cake. The rule in my house is 5 bites (my son is the pickiest eater on the planet and when he says he is done and has barely eaten he has to eat 5 bites more or he doesn't get desert) I say to Jman he didn't eat and Jman starts the guilty father shit "I only get him once a week" ok so because you don't see him more often he doesn't have to follow the rules? Or he is to have a different set of rules than my children? And what are these second set of rules so that at least I know them? GRRRRR!! I am just so fustrated with this stuff. I thought we were on the same page.

OK so the quickie horoscope is probably going to happen tonight when I sit his ass down about being on the same page because if this two sets rules thing is only going to make it harder for me to become close to these children because if they can push they will and by giving him special treatment you are allowing him to push!

I guess in the long run if I do sit Jman down and tell him how I feel maybe it will be results oriented at least I hope it will!

In other news tomorrow is my last day at my job, I think it's going to be strange not coming here monday through friday. I have been doing it for over two years. I am a little nervous about the new place hoping I like it and all.

Keepin my fingers crossed on all fronts.

Pumpkin story (this made me laugh!)

Police arrested Patrick Lawrence, a 22-year-old white male, resident of Dacula, GA, in a pumpkin patch at 11:38 p.m. Friday. Lawrence will be charged with lewd and lascivious behavior, public indecency, and public intoxication at the Gwinnett County courthouse on Monday.

The suspect allegedly stated that as he was passing a pumpkin patch, he decided to stop. "You know, a pumpkin is soft and squishy inside, and there was no one around here for miles. At least I thought there wasn't," he stated in a phone interview from the jail.

When he was caught red-handed (or in this case orange-handed) his reply was fantasic:

[The officer] went on to describe what happened when she approached Lawrence. "I just went up and said, 'Excuse me sir, but do you realize that you are screwing a pumpkin?' He got real surprised, as you'd expect, and then looked me straight in the face and said, "A pumpkin? Damn…is it midnight already?"

Oh man, good stuff.

This is how I felt last weekend. It just seemed that at the end of the weekend I needed another weekend. Jman and I had spent almost no time together and we ran around like chickens with out head cut off.

Saturday and Sunday my daughter was in her first pageant. She liked it I didn't! Just too much fake but she looked beautiful and really loved getting dressed up. I was proud she got up on stage and said her little speach (which takes guts!) so here are a few pics of that

Saturday night we watched Monster House which was really funny and cute the kids loved it!

And Sunday night after dropping off the baby we all headed down for dinner with my family and cake for little man's birthday!

oy vey!! I am hoping this weekend is much more quiet!!

Halloween

We went trick or treating in a neighboring town last night and had a great time. This town is known in the area for going all out and they exceeded my expectations last night. The houses up and down the main street must plan for this all year there were multiple homes turned into haunted houses and the amount of kids out was crazy. The people handing out candy were all dressed up, some were vampires other were just goulish looking my favorite was the dead bride and groom. The kids hada blast and I took a ton of pictures and wanted to share them with you. But when I got home most of the pictures just didn't come out. I do however have a few for you!
